Opportunity: System Design Engineer eagle Controls is seeking qualified professionals to join our Controls team. eagle Controls uses the most advanced, user-friendly automation systems in the market. eagle designs, builds, programs and commissions building automation system projects for new or existing construction across a variety of markets.

We are currently looking for a
System Design Engineer
to join our Controls team. This location for this position is flexible and can be based anywhere, depending on project needs and assignments. Our ideal candidate for a
System Design Engineer
is someone who has
3 years of experience
and has a focus on continuous learning and development.
Primary responsibilities for eagle’s System Design Engineer include:
Designing and configuring automation systems by selecting hardware, developing software, and creating necessary drawings and documentation.
Managing material procurement, tracking, and factory-mounting processes to align with project schedules.
Loading, commissioning, and validating system functionality while troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
Documenting field changes, updating as-built drawings and software, and prepare system operation manuals.
Providing project updates to management and customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Conducting site-specific training for owners/operators and complete required administrative paperwork.
Primary qualifications for eagle’s System Design Engineer include:
At least three years of hands‑on experience in installing and/or commissioning automation systems.
Proficiency in building automation system configuration software.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Proven technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Advanced computer skills, including expertise in computer-aided drafting tools.
