Vital Signs and Basic Data Collection: Takes vital signs, measures intake/output, height, and weight, and obtains routine lab samples Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provides comprehensive support for bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and toileting Patient Mobility & Support: Assists with patient equipment, transfers (bed to chair), and transportation within the facility Observation, Reporting & Safety: Monitors patient progress, identifies needs for medical intervention, removes hazards, and maintains clean, orderly patient rooms Mealtime Support: Sets up patients for meals, assists with feeding as needed, and documents meal intake Teamwork & Responsiveness: Promptly answers all patient signal lights and functions collaboratively as a team member in care delivery, while adhering to infection control protocols

Since opening in 1952, CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison has been dedicated to serving the residents of Garrison and the surrounding rural communities. The hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed program, and acute care services.
