About
Senior Technical Project Engineer on our Data Center and Industrial team, focusing on business development and HVAC sales. Responsible for supporting growth in commercial equipment, controls, and service sales in the Data Center and Industrial market in North America. The role may be located anywhere in the US; preference given to candidates residing in the Eastern Time Zone. Role Responsibilities
Provide project management and engineering support for data center and industrial projects Provide specialized commercial applied HVAC equipment selections and pricing Prepare technical documentation including submittal packages, close‑out documents, and others Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air‑conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers Coordinate across multiple functions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment Manage Salesforce opportunities for internal tracking and strategizing organizational needs Coordinate with Carrier Commercial Service organization to provide turn‑key proposals for industrial and data center service Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of Commercial HVAC industry experience Available for up to 30% domestic travel, with potential for international travel as business needs evolve Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record in Inside Sales, Sales Engineering, and/or Project Management, with a strong emphasis on technical solution delivery and account coordination Deliver high‑level technical sales support and HVAC design assistance Specialized commercial applied HVAC equipment selections and pricing experience Technical proficiency with data center design experience and central utility plant design experience Proactive and self‑directed with a proven dedication to project outcomes and the ability to maintain momentum in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, ranging from external clients to internal cross‑functional teams in sales, engineering, and manufacturing Demonstrates meticulous ability to manage the end‑to‑end execution of complex tasks, consistently delivering results through disciplined follow‑up and rigorous attention to project milestones Meticulously organized with a sharp attention to detail, coupled with the ability to manage competing demands and maintain high standards under tight deadlines Unwavering customer service orientation Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) Pay Range
$96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation
