Job Summary We are seeking a Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, and cloud‑connected environments. This role will be responsible for ensuring reliable and secure network operations, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, implementing infrastructure improvements, and supporting network security initiatives. The Network Engineer will work closely with managed service providers, cybersecurity teams, and internal IT stakeholders to maintain high availability and performance across enterprise networking environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking fundamentals, hands‑on experience with Cisco and Meraki technologies, and the ability to independently execute network projects and operational initiatives.
This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) with the expectation to be onsite two days per week.
Primary Duties
Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity
Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and connectivity issues
Configure and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
Support LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, and cloud‑connected networking environments
Administer DHCP, DNS, VPN, and other core network services
Perform network device upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities
Participate in infrastructure expansion, site deployments, and network modernization projects
Support network monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility initiatives
Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors to support infrastructure operations
Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation
Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation initiatives
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities
Participate in on‑call rotation as required
Travel up to 25% as required
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong understanding of enterprise networking and security concepts
Experience supporting Cisco and Meraki networking environments
Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networking
Experience supporting SD‑WAN technologies
Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP networking services
Familiarity with firewall technologies and network security best practices
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Exposure to Azure and/or AWS networking concepts preferred
Familiarity with change management and IT operational processes
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and business stakeholders

Education / Experience
3+ years of networking experience in an enterprise environment
Experience supporting Cisco and Meraki networking technologies
Experience supporting LAN/WAN, wireless, and SD‑WAN environments
Experience participating in network infrastructure projects and operational support activities
Cisco CCNA or CCNP
CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+
Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud certification
ITIL Foundation
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $76,200.00 to $111,900.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
