About
Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting. Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytics to improve existing systems. Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes. Test and maintain systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met. Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines. Use programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers. Integrate data from multiple sources and recommend solutions for complex business problems. Experiment with available tools and advise on new technologies to provide optimal solutions for model/use-case requirements. Requirements
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field and at least one year of experience in a related occupation. One year of experience analyzing large data sets from multiple sources. Experience with data analysis in retail and/or healthcare industries. Programming skills in Java, Python, or R. Proficiency in SAS or SQL. Experience with Hadoop architecture or HDFS commands. Experience with Hadoop and Hive. Designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines. Writing ETL processes. Experience with cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP. Developing data and analytics-based platform capabilities, services, or products. Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $126,443.00/year to $236,900.00/year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for bonuses, commissions, short-term incentive programs, and equity awards.
