About

The network administrators for these openings will operate under the general guidance of the assigned Network Operations Center Manager, who will coordinate daily/weekly assignments for the deployment, operational support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of the Agency’s critical enterprise architecture. The network administrators will work with Network, Security, and other IT professional groups and non-IT staff to assist with problem resolution, mitigation of issues, and to provide technical solutions. The network administrator will ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time, and regularly provide progress, tasks, and deliverables status updates to the assigned project manager. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure and LAN administration. 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network switches and wireless access points. 3+ years of experience supporting SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services. 3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues on Windows and mobile devices. 3+ years of experience creating, reading, and maintaining network documentation and network diagrams. Preferred Qualifications Current or previously held networking or related certifications from industry leaders such as
CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft
(please indicate whether certifications are active or inactive on the resume). Completion of the Cisco Networking Academy or a similar networking bootcamp/training program. Additional Skills Ability to perform on-site physical network work, including lifting up to 40 lbs. and working on ladders. Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel statewide to remote sites using a state or personal vehicle. Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Education Associate’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent professional work experience. Certifications No certifications are required. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant certifications based on overall experience, education, and work history.
