Job Overview
We are recruiting part‑time adjunct faculty for the Interior Design program for the 2026 fall semester. Candidates will teach in‑person courses on campus in Boston, including Studio III, Studio V (Tuesday and Thursday, 1:00–4:30pm), Drawing III (Wednesday and Friday, 8:00–9:50am), and History of Interiors I (Monday and Wednesday, 1:00–2:15pm). Classes begin September8 and end December8. Responsibilities
Teach the assigned interior design studio and drawing courses for the fall term. Prepare and deliver lectures, lead studio sessions, and facilitate student assessments. Maintain learning materials, course syllabi, and grading systems. Support students in developing design projects, presentations, and professional portfolios. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Qualifications
Master’s degree (or PhD) in Interior Design, History of Design, or a closely related field. NCIDQ certification is preferred for studio teaching faculty. Prior university‑level teaching experience in interior design or related disciplines. Professional interior design experience and a strong portfolio showcasing design work. Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching to diverse student learning needs. Compensation and Benefits
