Achieve monthly revenue goal and conversion ratio. Develop sales staff skills in prospecting, public speaking, closing, product knowledge, pricing, payment terms, and electronic contracts. Establish and communicate expectations with the sales team while building their skills. Review sales contracts to ensure compliance with company processes and regulatory requirements, providing feedback to staff. Utilize CRM systems to identify and assign warm leads. Collaborate with marketing and sales management teams on campaign development, target audience, and advertising to increase market share. Develop an annual sales plan for each associate, identifying actions that support goal attainment. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiencies. Support change initiatives, maintaining effectiveness during major changes in responsibilities, work structures, processes, or cultures. Develop a strong, trusting, and reliable team. Understand team members’ career aspirations and assign tasks to develop skills or close gaps. Constructively address issues and provide tangible, appropriate feedback. Apply a proactive and collaborative management style to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover. Screen candidates (internal and external) and hire or promote a skilled, effective staff. Assess staff abilities, recommend pay increases and career advancements. Train staff on processes, procedures, and controls. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree in a related discipline preferred). Series 6 or 7 license, current in the operating state (or obtained within six months of employment). Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. At least four (4) years of sales experience, outside or inside direct sales to consumers, with a proven record of exceeding sales goals and conversion ratios. Proficiency in CRM databases and Salesforce.com (preferred). Experience with electronic sales contracts. Experience in the funeral services industry a plus. Leadership qualities and skills. Professional written and verbal communication skills, including influencing and public speaking. Comfortable with in-home sales and group presentations. Ability to work with and communicate with remote stakeholders. Positive attitude, self‑motivation, and a drive to continually advance industry knowledge. Process‑oriented, results‑focused, and adept at removing obstacles and exploring alternatives. Cognitive ability: reasoning, planning, problem‑solving, abstract thinking, quick learning, and applying lessons to new situations. MS Office Suite skills. Work Conditions
Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Local and/or multiple location travel required. Comply with field dress code policy. Frequent, continuous standing up to 6 hours per day. Sitting continuously for several hours per day, up to 6 hours. Climbing stairs frequently. Manual dexterity required: paperwork, calculator, computer, phone usage. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 20 pounds. Working beyond standard hours as needed. Up to 25% local travel. Compensation & Benefits
