Description
The position is a multi-hire for highly embedded and sensor-driven programs such as JASSM, LRASM, EOTS and other classified programs. Engineers with experience writing drivers, working in hardware abstraction layer architectures, and familiar with microservice-style architectures are sought for command and control code for sensors and hardware/software integration in classified labs. Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company. This role is within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Responsibilities
Write embedded software in C++ and develop embedded OS in an Agile environment. Develop embedded software, integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications. Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop solutions. Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation, and analyze system capabilities. Perform hardware/software integration and verification, including requirements analysis, design, unit test, and integration. Qualifications
Embedded Software technology. Proficiency in C++. Experience with object-oriented design. Experience on Linux or VxWorks. Interim Secret clearance required at time of hire, with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship. Desired Skills
Multi-core and multi-threaded programming. Hardware/Software integration. Algorithm implementation. Experience working with multi-disciplined teams. Experience in large code base. Knowledge of design patterns. Familiarity with GitLab. Full software life-cycle development. Scrum. Safety critical software. Benefits
