Systems Administrator
Job Summary The Loan Origination System (LOS) Systems Administrator supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of the Loan Origination System (LOS), related lending platforms, and system integrations. This role is responsible for assisting with system configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and user support to ensure efficient loan processing and system performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a solid understanding of mortgage lending operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.
Job Duties
Serve as one of the primary points of contact for assigned support tickets and user requests related to the LOS and lending platforms.
Support business units by troubleshooting system issues and providing timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with Operations, Sales, and other business partners to understand and support business needs.
Analyze system data and user feedback to identify process inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with LOS administrators, IT teams, and third‑party vendors to support system functionality, business continuity, and data integrity.
Investigate business rule exceptions and system issues and escalate complex matters to senior administrators or management.
Participate in regular LOS team meetings and communicate system concerns, risks, and enhancement opportunities.
Develop and maintain expertise in the Encompass LOS platform and related lending technologies.
Maintain a working knowledge of user roles, workflows, and system functionality across lending operations.
Assist with system configuration, enhancement implementation, and customization efforts based on business requirements.
Support change management activities by documenting changes, following established governance procedures, and assisting with release deployments.
Perform testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation.
Provide Tier 2 support for escalated system and user issues.
Assist in the development and documentation of support procedures to enhance the effectiveness of support resources.
Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and process documentation to support audits and operational continuity.
Assist with the administration and support of third‑party integrations and vendor‑supported solutions within the LOS environment.
Support special projects and other system administration duties as assigned.

Remote:
This role is fully remote and performed from the employee’s home or another approved off‑site location. The company provides essential equipment such as computer, headset and webcam. A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace are expected.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology.
Experience supporting or administering loan origination systems or related business applications.
Understanding of mortgage loan origination processes, workflow management, and lending operations.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LOS configuration, testing, or release support.
Experience with Mortgage POS system (i.e. TPOC) configuration, testing, or release support.
Knowledge of Mavent, investor guidelines, or secondary market delivery requirements.
Experience working in a mortgage company, financial institution, or credit union.
Familiarity with change management processes and system governance practices.
Experience supporting third‑party integrations and vendor relationships.
