Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Operations Senior Analyst supports the annual and continuous planning processes by engaging with strategic retailers. The analyst is the lead resource for customer‑specific needs, communicating timely updates to both the account and the company. The primary focus is to engage retail counterparts for an optimized operational function that drives revenue and margin for assigned strategic retail accounts. Key Functions (Responsibilities)
Use POS trends and analysis in weekly retailer meetings to lead the development of sales forecasts for incorporation into internal Monthly S&OP processes. Leverage advanced inventory management with retailers, optimizing DC/FC level allocations, maximizing retailer inventory investment, and achieving in‑stock metrics. Work internally with Demand Planning as the retailer forecast expert for account demand reviews following CPFRs with retailers. Identify action plans to address issues or activate new opportunities by tracking risks and opportunities using competitor insights. Assist National Account managers in maximizing available budgets to drive ROI. Use SOP to optimize purchase order changes to retailers targeting on‑time, in‑full, and invoice mis‑match metrics. Support Sales‑National Accounts by working cross‑functionally with Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain partners. Develop strong partnerships with assigned national account retailers across planning, forecasting, and inventory teams. Collaborate on all operational aspects of sales execution at assigned retailers with Sales Directors, Revenue Optimization, and National Account Managers. Liaise with Category Business Units on ranging, assortment, and new product planning. Collaborate with Demand & Supply Planning, Finance, Customer Service, Inbound & Outbound Logistics to meet retailer and internal efficiency and service metrics. Identify decision makers and influencers to balance resource and asset allocation. Contribute to the Dyson U.S. organization and serve as an active, high‑performing team member. Partner with teammates to support new opportunities as they arise. Challenge self and others to accept norms and work toward best practices. Fulfill other duties as necessary and assigned. Embrace new activities that fall broadly within the role’s purpose. Think outside the box to identify improvement opportunities. Identify problems and develop solutions. About You (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required; business major preferred. 2+ years of experience as a Sales Operations Analyst, Financial Analyst, Merchandise Planner, Demand Planner, or Inventory Analyst. Prior Demand Planning and Forecasting experience required. Experience working with key national accounts and/or big‑box retailers. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Sales, Marketing or Finance functions is a plus. Experience with SAP or Anaplan is a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently. Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects. Deliver projects in full, on time, and to the highest quality. Innovative yet objective thinker. Communicate with all levels of the organization with positive intent. Travel up to 25%. Compensation
$87,200 - $109,000 annually + bonus opportunity. Location
