Job Description This role works closely with the Director of IT to maintain the mosaic of design technologies that support the architectural design process. The desktop support coordinator provides technical support to all end users in the company and acts as the front line of defense in troubleshooting problems and coordinating with outside service support when needed.
Position Description
provide technical support to all Lake | Flato personnel
assist the Director of IT to manage Lake | Flato helpdesk service tickets and maintain hardware and software installed on desktops, laptops and servers.
assist in maintaining Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, wireless network, mobile and desktop phones
assist in implementation of IT hardware and software upgrades including decommissioning and recycling of old hardware
assist in creating and maintaining support/instructional documents for end-users to assist them in proper usage of hardware and software
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
The IT Coordinator must be trained and have experience with:
MS: Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2008/2012, Office 365
VMware / VDI
Basic SQL server support
PC Hardware, Laptops, Printers, Projectors
Wired and Wireless Network Components
Certificate or Degree in IT, computer science or related field
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience working in a design environment or other project related business preferred
Ability to legally work in the US
