Each day involves work across three main domains: Innovation Use open‑source and digital technologies to mine complex, voluminous, and heterogeneous data sources; build data solutions, tools, and capabilities that enable self‑service frameworks; explore and apply new technologies to advance diverse initiatives. Business Intelligence Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into tools, metrics, dashboards, and visualizations; develop insights that influence business strategy. Data Management Apply data quality principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions; collaborate with technical teams on security and governance; develop and maintain tools to monitor and report on data quality. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years of data analytics experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (or working toward it). At least 2 years of experience if pursuing a Master’s degree expected before the start date. At least 1 year of experience with a scripting language (Python, R, Spark, or SQL). At least 1 year of experience with a business intelligence visualization tool. At least 1 year of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data platforms. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline. At least 2 years of coding experience with Python, R, Spark, or SQL. At least 2 years of experience with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies. At least 1 year of experience with AWS services. At least 1 year of experience with data governance and data quality tools such as Informatica DQ. Compensation
McLean, VA: $111,200 – $126,900 per year (Senior Data Analyst). Richmond, VA: $101,100 – $115,400 per year (Senior Data Analyst). Other locations receive the pay range associated with that location. Benefits
