Summary Sr. Business Analyst
This role supports a dedicated customer’s business as a Senior Business Analyst on the Shopper & Consumer Insights team. The role is responsible for high‑quality analytics, storytelling, and insight delivery that supports multiple retailer customers focused strategies and presentations. The emphasis is not just on “running reports,” but on turning data into insights that influence decisions.

Responsibilities
Analyzes syndicated and geodemographic data to uncover shopper trends and support experiential initiatives
Works with client teams to understand business needs and deliver insights aligned with strategic goals
Creates compelling presentations with clear narratives and visualizations and applies storytelling techniques and branding standards
Contributes to team best practices and process enhancements and shares knowledge and collaborates across functions
Create data automation and reporting that drives operational and business development efficiencies
Provide weekly sales summaries based on extracts from a major retailer’s internal reporting platform
Create test / control store testing for post‑program analyses
Qualifications
4 - 6 years in retail analytics or category management (not financial/data‑only analytics).
Data access/Usage Experience.
Circana
Nielsen
Shopper Loyalty (preferred)
Advanced Excel – reporting, scorecards
Quality control of data, formatting, and outputs
Power BI and Databricks preferred.
Strong communication and storytelling ability
