Data Engineer Location: Woonsocket, RI. Telecommuting available. Responsibilities
Develop large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data for reporting and insights. Write ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing. Collaborate with Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes. Test and maintain systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards. Leverage Hadoop architecture and HDFS commands to design and optimize data pipelines. Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers. Integrate data from various sources and advise on new tools for optimal solutions. Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and at least two years of experience in the role. At least two years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD (Jenkins, GIT, DevOps), Java/Python/Node.js, JIRA/Rally/Confluence, big‑data platforms (Hadoop, Azure, GCP, AWS), SAS or SQL programming, visualization tools (PowerBI and Tableau), Spark/PySpark/Scala, ETL processes, cloud components including cluster management, and Big Data implementation. Proficiency in programming skills (Python, Java, or similar) and building robust data pipelines. Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $130,832.00 to $144,200.00 per year. Eligibility for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive and equity award programs.
