About

Opportunity Overview Design Engineer - AI Enablement based in Jupiter, FL 33478. This is a 6‑month contract assignment. It is a W‑2 position. You will support capital design teams, embedding with engineers and applying AI to everyday engineering work. Work includes design packages, specifications, calculations support, technical bids, and vendor input validation. You will accelerate adoption through hands‑on coaching and workflow standardization. This role is not a design authority.
Your Day-to-Day
Work side by side with engineers on active design work to demonstrate practical AI use
Support creation of reusable prompts, templates, and bounded AI agents considering engineering workflows
Help translate successful use cases into repeatable team practices
Track and report adoption, agent development, and quality/rework indicators
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience supporting engineering design deliverables
Familiarity with engineering documents and workflows in an industrial or regulated environment
Comfortable with AI and digital productivity tools
Role Boundaries
Does not assume engineering design authority, approvals, or signatures
Responsible engineers and checkers retain all technical accountability

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
