What You’ll Do
Aggressively develop new business within an assigned territory through cold and warm lead outreach, qualification, and follow‑up.
Partner closely with Territory Managers to vet opportunities, gather critical account insights, and support territory growth strategies.
Manage and maintain accurate customer and prospect data in Salesforce, including contacts, activities, and opportunities.
Promote new products and company programs using digital marketing tools, follow‑up calls, webinars, and conference calls.
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, handling sales inquiries, quotes, and order fulfillment.
Use active listening and consultative sales techniques to identify customer needs and recommend effective product solutions.
Upsell and cross‑sell products and programs to maximize customer value and territory profitability.
Coordinate cross‑functionally with logistics and purchasing teams to ensure seamless order execution and high customer satisfaction.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales and profit goals, taking initiative to adjust strategies as needed.
What You Bring Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of inside sales and/or customer service experience.
Proven experience managing direct customer interactions, including resolving concerns and providing solutions.
Skills & Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑focused approach.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational, time management, and follow‑up skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and phone.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and data entry.
Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video conferencing, and email.
Pre‑Employment Requirements
Ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Inside sales experience within the building products industry.
Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) and ERP systems (Infor preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive pricing.
Understanding of building materials and basic installation processes.
Office‑based, team‑oriented sales environment.
Frequent collaboration with Territory Managers, sales leadership, and internal departments.
Regular use of CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.
Emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and proactive communication.
