Type: Full Time Compensation: $130k - $170k / year Location: Fremont, Ohio, United States

Job Summary:

Mosser Construction Inc. (Mosser) has an immediate opening for a Project Executive (PX). This is a strategic, senior level role responsible for leading and overseeing multiple construction projects, including CMAR and/or Design Build. This role will be involved with or lead projects from initial inception (including some pursuits) through final completion (including the warranty period). The successful candidate will have demonstrated a proven record of success in project management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the building process and the broader construction industry.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership:
    • Uses vast project experience and knowledge to provide strategic insight and oversight to project teams, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Manages and mentors project managers, superintendents, and other project team members by providing guidance, support, and resources necessary to ensure a successful project outcome.
    • Manages project changes and scope adjustments from inception through resolution to minimize project impacts including the required documentation and communication methods.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with these groups to ensure client satisfaction is met and the overall project is successful.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Leads the development and implementation of the project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Oversees all phases of the construction to ensure the project is being delivered in compliance with all contractual requirements including goals for quality and safety.
    • Identifies and mitigates project risks/issues and develops contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitors and manages project financial performance including cost control measures, forecasting of cost and revenue, and revenue projections.
    • Completes any required project financial reporting procedures necessary for internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Effectively communicates project progress, issues, status updates, and key milestones to various internal and external stakeholders.
    • Facilitates various project meetings and reviews required throughout a project's life cycle.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods including industry standards and best practices.

Strong leadership, organization, and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.

Ability to foster a collaborative work environment to drive results.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.

Proficiency in project management and financial software such as CMiC and Primavera P6 as well as Microsoft Office products.

Strong background in project financial management practices.

Professional certifications such as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or a professional licensure in Engineering or Architecture is a plus.

Experience:

Senior-level position with a minimum of 15 years of experience in project management with a track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
