You’ll work across the complete ML lifecycle—from data collection and validation, to feature engineering, model training, and deploying optimized inference on embedded hardware. This internship offers hands‑on experience in ML system optimization, edge computing, embedded Linux deployment, and practical problem‑solving in a production‑focused environment.
What You Will Do
Collect, validate, and prepare datasets
— Design data collection protocols, build validation pipelines, and organize datasets with proper labeling and metadata management.
Engineer features and improve ML models
— Analyze signal data, extract meaningful features, train machine learning models, and use cross‑validation to optimize accuracy and identify bottlenecks.
Optimize models for embedded deployment
— Convert models to efficient formats, profile CPU and memory usage, and reduce inference latency on resource‑constrained hardware.
Deploy and test on edge devices
— Build inference wrappers, deploy optimized models to ARM‑based embedded Linux devices, and troubleshoot real‑time system execution.
Write clean, tested code and documentation
— Develop modular Python code, write unit tests, create comprehensive documentation, and collaborate via Git version control and code reviews.
Profile performance and solve bottlenecks
— Identify performance issues using profiling tools, implement optimizations, and measure the impact on latency and resource consumption.
Participate in team collaboration
— Attend technical discussions, participate in code reviews, pair program with team members, and present progress and learnings.
