A growing automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and expand market share across key accounts. This individual will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with internal teams, and executing sales strategies that support long-term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, product development, and marketing teams to support customer requirements and business objectives.
Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, forecasting activities, and account planning efforts.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
Analyze sales performance and account metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information within CRM systems.
Provide exceptional customer support throughout the sales cycle and post-sale relationship management.
Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Travel as needed to support customers and business development activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting automotive, industrial, engineered products, or related manufacturing markets preferred.
Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Ability to analyze market data, sales metrics, and customer trends.
Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Self‑motivated, organized, and results‑oriented with the ability to work independently.
