Construction Project Manager

Location: Near Norwich, NY Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

Our growing client is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client, field teams, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope and quality expectations.

The Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned construction projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with contractual milestones and budgets
  • Break down project scope into manageable tasks and timelines

Project Oversight & Performance

  • Monitor safety compliance, work progress, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and information required to meet project goals
  • Develop and maintain short-term planning tools such as three-week look-ahead schedules

Communication & Client Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Communicate regularly with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met
  • Negotiate and resolve issues related to project scope, cost, and scheduling

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and organized project records including submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Prepare cost-to-complete projections and project status reports
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained in compliance with company standards

Team Leadership

  • Support field teams by providing guidance on project goals, processes, and company policies
  • Assist team members in resolving operational or project-related challenges
