Sr Project Manager II (Master Scheduler)

100% telecommute.

Hours: 8am - 5pm PT

Interview Process: 3 rounds via video.

Description: The role is for a Sr Project Manager II (Master Scheduler) on the HI HAP/EDW DDI Project. The DDI is at a critical stage with delivery of remaining deliverables, and continuation of the customer relationship. The project go-live may be at risk if we are unable to properly forecast the impacts to our project schedule and account for it across our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating, adding, project schedule task
  • Loading project calendars to the schedule
  • Adding resources
  • Setting up predecessor and successor task in the schedule
  • Linking task
  • Tracking Milestones
  • Passing all Federal Checks (standards) for a project schedule o Resource leveling the project schedule
  • Calculating CPI, SPI, BEI

Top 3 Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Project experience - working with multiple project schedules
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle

Required:

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Project experience - working with multiple project schedules
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
  • 3+ years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements
  • Experience working with test plans and test cases

Preferred:

  • Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) session
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Healthcare Information Exchange, EDI, Healthcare Industry experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency with MS Project
  • Proficiency with MS Visio

Ideal Candidate Background: The candidate will have experience managing project schedules for State DDI projects. The candidate will also have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Experience will set candidates apart from one another:

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Project and HP Application Lifecycle Management applications.
  • Working with multiple project schedules; experience with software delivery.
