We are looking for a ProjectManager to be responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving stakeholder engagement strategies that expand awareness, increase participation, and strengthen collaboration among healthcare providers, organizations, community partners, vendors, and government entities. This position will be full-time and hybrid onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans aligned with statewide interoperability and HIE modernization strategies
Create targeted engagement strategies that support Rural Health Transformation Program interoperability goals
Conduct ongoing stakeholder analysis to identify needs, barriers, motivations, and opportunities for engagement
Collaborate with communications teams to develop and deliver clear, consistent messaging across stakeholder audiences
Drive stakeholder participation in interoperability initiatives, including supporting new HIE connections to achieve grant milestones
Serve as liaison for collecting metrics and reporting progress toward RHTP objectives to state and federal stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for providers, HIE organizations, health systems, community partners, vendors, and government stakeholders
Build trusted, long-term relationships that strengthen collaboration and alignment across partners
Understand stakeholder needs and develop actionable plans to address barriers and challenges
Respond to stakeholder concerns, complaints, and participation issues in a timely manner
Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and escalate systemic issues when appropriate
Ensure operational and functional workflows reflect stakeholder readiness and business needs
Identify opportunities to increase awareness and participation in interoperability modernization initiatives
Lead educational outreach efforts to communicate program objectives, participation benefits, and engagement opportunities
Develop and deliver presentations, briefings, webinars, and informational resources for diverse stakeholder groups
Coordinate with associations, coalitions, and community organizations to expand engagement efforts and program reach
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, healthcare transformation, interoperability initiatives, or stakeholder engagement
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving multiple interdependent projects.
Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange, Health Information Exchange (HIE) environments, interoperability standards, and related regulatory requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft O365 and project/portfolio management tools
Executive-level stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience
Experience collaborating with government agencies, public health organizations, HIEs, health systems, providers, payers, CMS, ONC, and other healthcare stakeholders
Proven ability to build coalitions, foster partnerships, and lead multi-sector modernization initiatives
Exceptional communication, relationship management, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Ability to communicate complex technical, operational, and policy concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience working on statewide healthcare modernization or public health transformation initiatives
Certification in project management, stakeholder engagement, healthcare informatics, or change management
Experience supporting federally funded healthcare programs and grant initiatives
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to attend meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagement activities
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Occasional travel for stakeholder meetings, site visits, conferences, and partner engagement activities

$45 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
