The HVAC Tech will specialize in servicing residential HVAC systems, working primarily within a small team of 2-5 technicians or independently. This role involves handling system installations, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and routine maintenance while ensuring safety compliance and excellent customer service. The position does not require travel and focuses on delivering reliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to residential clients. Responsibilities Perform HVAC system installations, repairs, upgrades, and retrofits in residential settings Conduct preventive maintenance and routine system inspections Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment issues accurately Repair and replace faulty components and parts Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Communicate clearly with customers regarding system status and services Perform diagnostic testing to verify system performance Maintain organized documentation of service activities Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications 1+ years experience in HVAC technology Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical systems Strong troubleshooting skills Effective customer communication Time management skills
