The HVAC Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems. As an individual contributor, the technician focuses on advanced diagnostics, repairs, and system commissioning, with occasional travel to job sites. This position demands expertise in troubleshooting, customer service, and strict adherence to safety guidelines to maintain optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings Perform maintenance and preventative care to HVAC equipment Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on system issues Execute repair work to restore HVAC system functionality Commission new HVAC installations and ensure system performance Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC industry experience High school diploma or equivalent EPA Section 608 Certification Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation and commissioning Strong troubleshooting and repair skills Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices Familiarity with electrical systems related to HVAC Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools Customer service oriented Committed to safety compliance
