Responsibilities
Planning and strategy
– Work with client counterparts to understand program scope, timelines, bottlenecks, and develop a high‑level migration strategy to convert existing volumes onto the Tachyon platform.
Program execution and governance
– Contribute heavily to migration execution, ensure rituals are followed, identify risks, create mitigation plans, and provide critical updates to stakeholders through daily and weekly cadences.
Platform understanding
– Develop deep knowledge of the Tachyon platform, including product and policy configurations, integration capabilities, and data migration mechanisms through hands‑on APIs.
Data Migration Strategy
– Prepare comprehensive migration strategy documents covering data transfer, reconciliation, quality assurance, mock runs, storage/transfer/retention/deletion plans, and impact on surrounding systems.
Cut‑over/Go‑live Migration
– Ensure smooth cut‑over by coordinating with payment schemes, bank teams, regulators, and auditors, and manage migration of cryptographic keys.
Liaising with Product teams
– Work with product and program managers to understand Tachyon data architecture and prepare migration scripts for ETL from legacy systems.
Technical problem solving
– Assist clients on migration, provide integration support using APIs, events, batch files, and help debug issues with standard practices.
Migration Scripting
– Develop and lead mock migration exercises to validate migration pipelines using ETL tools and code.

Strong documentation skills (data flow diagrams, flow charts, etc.)
Effective stakeholder relationship management, influencing senior executives internally and externally
Hands‑on attitude – willing to roll up sleeves
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
10+ years of technology and delivery experience involving data and database architecture, software development, data engineering, database administration, and large‑scale data migrations.
Demonstrated involvement in data migrations for multiple large clients.
Prior client‑facing experience with medium to large clients.
Experience conducting workshops and presenting solutions to senior management groups.
