Our client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Data Analyst IV for their Burbank, CA/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:
Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes. Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Will need to understand the current landscape – interviewing teams to get understanding More autonomous 70/30 – they need to recreate the documents on how things were currently and then implement new ways Key projects: Consumer product systems support – modernizing the contract management system. They will be analyzing data that's integrated in sub systems and redesign how it can be used in new systems. Purpose of this team: Handle contract management and analytic system WB games data. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. Experience with database technologies. Knowledge of the ETL process. Knowledge of at least one scripting language. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Demonstrated history of success. Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions. 10+ years of experience 6-10+ years of experience Technology requirements: SQL server How integrations work (how data is integrated through ETL and API) Degree or certifications required: Bachelors required in CS or Engineering Data certifications are nice to have Years experience: 10 years minimum – to understand the analysis Required background/Skillsets: Any industry is fine as long as the data experience is there Focused on integrations, need data mapping experience – Data architect experience Skill: proficient in data base tech Application: snowflake, SQL server Skill: understanding of integration technologies Skill: understanding of analytical environment Why Should You Apply?
