HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities: Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork Diagnose system issues and perform repairs in a timely manner Perform routine maintenance (filter changes, system cleaning, inspections) Test system performance and ensure proper operation Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with EPA regulations Communicate with customers regarding issues, solutions, and recommendations Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good condition Follow all safety procedures and company policies Requirements: Proven experience as an HVAC technician Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC components EPA Certification (required for handling refrigerants) Ability to troubleshoot and work independently Valid driver's license Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs) Work in confined spaces, attics, and outdoors in various weather conditions Company Description Pro Tech HVAC is a trusted heating, cooling, and indoor air quality service provider dedicated to delivering dependable comfort solutions for residential and commercial clients.
