About
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists. Prepare patients for examination. Administrative Duties:
Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system. Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize patient care. Respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally, offering concierge-level support. Clinical Support:
Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the provider. Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform blood draws. Administer EKG's and PFT's. Team Collaboration:
Partner with providers and other staff to create seamless patient experiences. Contribute to care team discussions to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain a patient-centered mindset while upholding clinic standards of care. About You
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a medical assistant, ideally in a primary care setting.
Certification: Medical Assistant Certification is preferred. Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and team members. Ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and patient-focused with a genuine desire to improve senior citizens' health outcomes. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow. High attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Demonstrates composure, focus, and professionalism in high-pressure or fast-paced situations, effectively managing stress while maintaining quality and efficiency. English/Spanish language skills preferred.
