Requirements
Strong experience with the Azure data stack: Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Microsoft Fabric
Proficiency in SQL / T‑SQL and Python (PySpark)
Hands‑on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with Spark / Databricks
Experience with data warehousing / lakehouse concepts (e.g. Delta Lake)
Nice to have
Experience with data governance tooling (e.g. Microsoft Purview)
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g. DP‑203)
Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and (when relevant) streaming data
Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation and integration processes across multiple source systems
Develop and manage data lakes/lakehouse solutions and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
Collaborate with analysts, modelers and business stakeholders to deliver fit‑for‑purpose data products
Apply CI/CD, version control and good engineering practices to data workloads
