Construction Manager

Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to lead capital improvement and redevelopment projects across a national portfolio.

This individual will play a key role in planning, budgeting, and executing construction initiatives aimed at increasing asset value and operational performance.

This is a highly visible role that partners closely with acquisitions and asset management teams and requires the ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.

Dallas, TX (Onsite with ~30% travel)

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from due diligence through completion
  • Manage capital improvement programs across multiple assets
  • Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and reporting
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, vendors, and consultants
  • Conduct site visits to ensure progress, quality, and safety standards
  • Support acquisitions efforts by evaluating construction scope, timelines, and costs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute value-add initiatives
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in design and execution
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction management experience (commercial, industrial, or similar)
  • Experience managing multiple projects across different locations
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Proven contractor/vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites
Preferred Experience
  • Background in value-add or repositioning projects
  • Familiarity with permitting and multi-jurisdictional processes
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 Per Year
