Construction Manager
Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to lead capital improvement and redevelopment projects across a national portfolio.
This individual will play a key role in planning, budgeting, and executing construction initiatives aimed at increasing asset value and operational performance.
This is a highly visible role that partners closely with acquisitions and asset management teams and requires the ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
Dallas, TX (Onsite with ~30% travel)
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all phases of construction projects from due diligence through completion
- Manage capital improvement programs across multiple assets
- Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and reporting
- Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, vendors, and consultants
- Conduct site visits to ensure progress, quality, and safety standards
- Support acquisitions efforts by evaluating construction scope, timelines, and costs
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute value-add initiatives
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in design and execution
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- 5+ years of construction management experience (commercial, industrial, or similar)
- Experience managing multiple projects across different locations
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling
- Proven contractor/vendor management and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel regularly to project sites
- Background in value-add or repositioning projects
- Familiarity with permitting and multi-jurisdictional processes
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 Per Year
