Job Description Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Data Analyst in Jersey City, NJ.
Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams equally efficiently, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data from multiple data sources. Investigate and perform complex analyses on disparate datasets using data profiling skills and coming up with the best practices to maintain data consistency, completeness, accuracy, and standardization. Make automation recommendations for the smooth ingestion, massaging and dissemination of data. Collaborate with product owners and business users to understand the requirements and incorporate feedback in the system and process. Collaborate with data office to align the project deliverables with strategic data initiatives. Ensure the data quality by using data validation checks and perform data QA on the implemented data processes. Write mappings documents within and across datasets. Telecommuting permitted.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field; plus 4 years of related experience. Also requires 4 years of experience with all of the following: 1) Data Analysis; 2) Data Lineage; 3) Data Visualization; 4) Data Catalog; 5) Data Deliveries and Risks; 6) Python; and 7) SQL.
