Product Development Manager

Our client, a DTC children's apparel brand is seeking a Product Development Manager to join their tight-knit team, on site in their New Jersey Offices!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product development process from inception to delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate sample management, reviews, and feedback.
• Lead in resolving product-related issues to support quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate development records, calendars, and project updates.
• Proactively identify potential challenges and help implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to keep projects progressing efficiently.
• Ensure product details and development requirements are communicated clearly.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance workflow and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Development, Production, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the product development and production process.
• Children's Apparel experience preferred, not required.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, manufacturers, or external partners.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
