Opportunity

The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations during assigned shifts, focusing on customer satisfaction and productivity while ensuring schedule coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking customers.
  • Assist Store Manager with personnel decisions (hiring, promotions, evaluations).
  • Act as lead for store personnel when Store Manager and Co-Manager are absent.
  • Submit payroll through Work Force Management when Co-Manager is unavailable.
  • Ensure end caps, displays, and seasonal aisles are properly stocked.
  • Manage resets, new items, date rotation, and recall lists.
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, and inventory for assigned departments.
  • Create Front End schedule and control labor costs to meet labor goals.
  • Supervise vendors, check-in procedures, price changes, and signage.
  • Report store maintenance issues using Verisae.
  • Train and develop staff, including Customer Service Managers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities, inside and outside.
  • Utilize store technology (UKG, Onboarding, Western Union, Outlook, etc).
  • Oversee store safety programs, inspections, temperature checks, and compliance reporting.
Requirements

Exceptional customer service skills

1+ years supervisory experience is required

Food safety knowledge is helpful

Cares about their community

Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment

18 years of age or older
