Job Summary
Analyzes data by combining multiple data sources and researching various system and healthcare issues to perform timely research and analysis, formulating solutions for issues of low to moderate scope and complexity.
Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare, Information Management, or equivalent experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen supporting Ecclesiastes contract • Able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation if supporting Ecclesiastes contract • 1 year experience in healthcare analysis, data management, or equivalent training or education • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred: • Familiarity with healthcare claims and payment data • Basic knowledge of JIRA and ability to write user stories in Agile • Proficiency in computer systems, database applications, Microsoft Office, SQL, MS Azure, Databricks, and/or Edifecs • Experience with business process needs analysis and requirements gathering • Experience with JAD sessions and detailed fact gathering • Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBI
Key Responsibilities • Compile, organize, and conduct various performance, cost, budget, and/or specialized data analysis to document and identify trends or potential issues. • Reconcile data and develop explanations for variances as necessary. • Meet with requestors to gather requirements and develop solutions (reports, trends, measures, forecasts). • Maintain responsibility for assigned reports, producing them accurately and timely. • Establish relationships with report owners. • Respond to customer questions and requests promptly. • Maintain documentation ensuring all procedures support department and company policies. • Collaborate with management to understand and interpret the impact of decisions by analyzing healthcare delivery variations and communicating findings. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
