As a Senior Security Analyst, you will strengthen our security posture by leading incident response, mentoring the team, and driving process improvements to safeguard business platforms. Your responsibilities will include: Leading L2/L3 incident response, ensuring correct escalation, timely resolution within SLA/OLA targets, and clear communication with senior leadership during critical incidents. Validating incident reports, conducting root cause analysis for major incidents (M1/P1), and producing clear, actionable security reports and recommendations. Performing secondary reviews of security incidents and risk assessments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards. Driving continuous improvement by refining incident response processes, issuing clear security alerts and advisories, and applying best practices. Mentoring and guiding Security Analysts, providing expert support on complex cases while reinforcing process adherence and professional standards. What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
An ideal candidate has the following qualities: 3–5 years of experience in Security Operations, ideally as a senior team member managing security tools and technologies. Strong proficiency with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms, and other monitoring, forensics, and analysis tools. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and current threat landscapes (e.g., malware, ransomware, phishing, APTs). Expertise across the full incident response lifecycle, from detection and analysis through containment, recovery, and post‑incident review. Experience in vulnerability management and risk assessment, with the ability to identify, prioritise, and mitigate security gaps.
