About
Responsibilities
Work on our most challenging design problems, helping colleagues improve their designs and expanding our in‑house design system.
Redesign the mobile web app by gathering user insights, creating wireframes, implementing a new design system, and turning those wireframes into polished UI.
Build a set of flexible, composable components in the design system that enable other engineers to construct consistent, beautiful setup wizards across the product.
Consult on bespoke design work required by product engineers, improving information hierarchy and scannability for recruiter-facing features.
Shape the UI and UX of a powerful, complex product used by 100,000+ weekly active users and millions of candidates per week.
Qualifications
Junior Design Engineer:
No more than 2 years of industry experience as a designer or engineer. Demonstrate visual taste and foundational UI/UX and engineering skills.
Design Engineer (Mid‑Senior):
2+ years of continuous experience as an engineer or designer. Proficiency in both design and engineering, with exceptional skill in the discipline practiced full‑time. Experience shipping code to hundreds of users.
Staff Design Engineer:
Professional experience in a design‑engineering role, major contributions to a design system, and ownership of features shipped to large user audiences.

Compensation Range: $98,000 – $165,000
