About

Our client is a respected provider of power system solutions serving utility, industrial, commercial, and critical infrastructure customers throughout the Northeast. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Sales Engineer to develop customer relationships and drive technical solution sales across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in power distribution, utility infrastructure, switchgear, transformers, protection & control, automation or related electrical power systems.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, EPC firms, consulting engineers, contractors, and industrial end users.
Identify customer challenges and recommend technical solutions that improve power reliability and system performance.
Present and demonstrate products and solutions including switchgear, transformers, protection & control systems, utility automation, and microgrid technologies.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and manufacturing partners to deliver projects successfully.
Conduct product presentations, Lunch & Learns, and technical training sessions.
Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from identification to project award.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
Experience in technical sales, application engineering, sales engineering, account management or business development within the electrical power industry.
Knowledge of power distribution, utility systems, switchgear, transformers, protection & control, automation, critical power, or related technologies.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, though equivalent industry experience will be considered.
Represent a diverse portfolio of industry-leading power system technologies.
Work with utilities, industrial facilities, EPCs, and consulting engineers on high-impact infrastructure projects.
