About

Overview
Experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer at The Boeing Company. This role is part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Aeronautical Systems Integration & Test (ASIT) team in Berkeley, MO. You will enable the ASIT organization to advance its technologies in support of Air Dominance, Phantom Works & Weapon programs. The team develops integration test assets, real‑time software test environments, subsystem/System testing, and evaluates system performance in simulation lab environments. Simulation and modeling assist in requirement development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation. Responsibilities
Responsible for releasing drawings in TeamCenter. Supports the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid system, and thermal environment requirements to establish system design. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Supports system component designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others. Works under general direction. Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical or Material Sciences). 5 or more years of experience with engineering and design software (CAD/3D packages such as UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.). 5 or more years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis. Preferred Qualifications
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is considered active. Experience with Mechanical Systems Design including electro‑mechanical and flight control systems. Security Clearance
Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start is required. Export Control & Safety
Position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. Safety Sensitive: This is not a Safety Sensitive Position. Benefits & Pay
Pay range: $103,700 – $140,300 (Experienced). Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates. Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
