About

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mobile Telecom Support Engineer will monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate real-time core network issues while collaborating with the telecom and engineering teams to maintain optimal network performance. Key responsibilities:
Troubleshooting complex mobile network issues and analyzing end-to-end call traces across various protocols Providing technical support to NOC engineers and liaising with mobile network operators for fault resolution Developing KPIs and training materials to enhance mobile network performance and troubleshooting practices
Required qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a telecom environment, specifically in L3 support or similar roles Strong knowledge of protocol signaling analysis in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE networks Solid understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking (IPv4 and IPv6) Experience with tools like Wireshark, Grafana, Prometheus, and ElasticSearch Basic knowledge of Python, Linux, and Bash scripting
