Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Need Locals Only Job Description: Need 10+ years of experience as a Devops Engineer. Experience using at least some of the following: DevOps, Docker Hub (Compose, Containers), GITHUB, Gradle, Maven, Spring. Experience with Cloud/Server-Side Technologies – Linux, NGINX, CDN (Akamai, Front Door), AKS, ACA, WAF, Key Vaults, Logging. Experience working with Agile methodologies required. Exceptional problem solving / analytical thinking and skills. Service Mesh exp needed. Design and set up AKS environments using Terraform. Proficient in Kubernetes, with a preference for CKAD certification. Skilled in Docker and Docker Swarm. Utilize Helm Charts for application deployment and management. Develop CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to Azure (ACA/AKS). Diagnose and resolve network issues within the Azure ecosystem. Configure Active/Active or Active/Passive setups in Azure cloud environments. Deploy React Single Page Applications (SPA) and Spring Boot Microservices to Azure. Experience in setting up ephemeral environments with Docker-in-Docker (DinD). Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Manage and monitor Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
