Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor and empower team members
Plan and assign work and work schedules
Train and cross-train team members
Responsible for interviewing and onboarding new hires.
Manage performance and terminations.
Accountable for maintaining quality and safety standards, improving productivity, and driving a culture of process improvement
Prepare all reports and logs as required.
Provide weekly data including but not limited to productivity, safety, and housekeeping to management as required
Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Participates in special projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years recent distribution/warehouse supervisory experience
Voice to Pick System experience
Inbound experience within receiving, bulk, or stocking
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting
Excellent verbal & written communications skills
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills
Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence others
Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, diverse team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Applications (e.g. Outlook, Excel and Word)
Champion of People, Change Agent, and gaining a complete understanding of the Inbound functions to be master of all processes
Skills
Strong and proven analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated focus on internal and external customers.
Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and other relevant software.
Highly motivated, with a track record of achieving personal, team, and organizational goals, creates a sense of urgency and delegates appropriately.
Capable of positively motivating oneself, individuals, and teams to exceed performance expectations despite complex, fast-paced environment.
Leadership style rooted in high integrity and focused on overall Mission of Imperial.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
