Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the sales team. The Sales Manager will identify and close new business opportunities in Heavy Highway, Commercial and residential markets. This position will make a positive impact with the team, coworkers and customers.
Overview Salary: $121,000 - $152,000 Annually
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Develop a high-performance sales team
Create winning sales processes and tools
Coach each Salesperson and build a pipeline of opportunities and exceed sales market
Develop and accurately report monthly sales forecasts
Provide key market and field insight back into the company’s operations
Work collaboratively with other key sales leaders to achieve overarching departmental goals
Work collaboratively with other functional leaders to achieve overarching company goals
Positive attitude and the ability to motivate and instill confidence in sales staff.
Proven track record of outstanding reputation in building a World Class sales teams
Entrepreneurial approach to sales expansion; acts quickly, decisively and with good judgment to follow up on viable opportunities
Provides swift, targeted responses to challenges; eager to be held accountable for projected growth
Ability to train, coach and manage a diverse group of individuals
Oversee daily sales activity
Work with Executive EVP to develop and adjust the regional sales strategy
Represent company in various trade organizations
Establish strong business relationships with customers and regional sales reps to ensure sales and profitability goals are accomplished
Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve annual sales budget
Required to meet once a quarter at work and industry networking events
Global Responsibilities
Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position

Qualifications Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
7 – 10 years of sales management experience
CRM experience
Skills/Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, analytical and listening skills
Good judgement and integrity
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power-Point, SalesForce.com
Strong understanding of general business strategy and accounting practices
Analytical approach and attention to detail
Sales skills both prospecting, closing, and maintaining
Exceptional negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills
Working Conditions
Operates within a professional office environment
Routine usage of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
