About
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Support: Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Software & OS Management: Provide first-level support for operating systems and standard enterprise software suites.
Ticket Management: Monitor and manage the technical support queue, ensuring all incidents and service requests are documented and resolved within agreed-upon timelines.
Deployment: Assist with hardware refresh cycles and the deployment of new equipment to end users.
Basic Networking: Troubleshooting basic connectivity issues related to local area networks (LAN) and wireless access points.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or desktop support role, ideally within an enterprise environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS environments and common office productivity tools.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and non-technical end users.
Problem Solving: A methodical approach to identifying and resolving hardware and software issues.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working in a project-based or dispatch-style technical support environment.
Familiarity with remote support tools and IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
