The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day tracking, coordination, and delivery of projects, programs and initiatives. This position will lead cross‑functional teams delivering high‑quality analytics and research products focusing on removing roadblocks, facilitating ceremonies, and managing scope.
Working alongside the Analytics and Data Insights team, this position works closely with partners across the organization on analytics, research, and the CareQuest Institute Health Data Exchange.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Develop, assist in the development, and analyze project plans, timelines, and project‑related work to identify efficiencies and meet project milestones and deliverables.
Promote and implement process improvement across functional areas within the team to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and enhanced outcomes.
Identify, track, and address demand‑related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Coordinate with various team members to monitor and maintain workforce capacity versus new and existing demand of projects and initiatives.
Use and maintain demand and project management planning software such as Jira, Smartsheet, etc., and summarize overall status and demand vs. capacity for management reporting, ensuring teams are tracking all work.
Facilitate activities including sprint planning, sprint review, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
Prepare routine and ad hoc data extractions, reports, and analysis summaries.
Job Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
6‑8 years of experience in project management, including but not limited to intake, project estimating, demand vs. capacity management, risk and issue tracking, change management, and project/program status reporting.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects and vendor relationships, including supervising external contractors and freelancers.
Experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle framework.
Knowledge and experience leading teams with different delivery methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and Traditional Waterfall.
Ability to operate effectively through ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete information, adapt to changing circumstances, and work comfortably through evolving goals.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task and remain organized with multiple interruptions in a fast‑paced environment.
Collaborative and demonstrates ability to influence and get work done through others.
Attends additional training as requested or deemed necessary.
Preferred
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience managing delivery pipeline projects such as software, web design, and compliance (SOC2, HITRUST, audits).
Experience using data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning; experience with SQL, Python, R, and other data analysis tools.
Experience with or knowledge of health care data, related data technologies and data consumption platforms.

The target hiring range for this role is $113,730 - $133,800 (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job‑related factors.
