Sales Specialist Intertek is searching for a Sales Specialist to join our Electrical team in our Duluth, GA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow or start a versatile sales career on the Electrical team.
Intertek’s Electrical business line applies more than 100 years of product testing expertise to help clients meet safety, performance, environmental and quality requirements across many industries such as medical, lighting, renewable energy, HVACR, appliances, electronics, hazardous locations, industrial equipment, life safety and security, IT and telecom equipment. Our global network of laboratories employs world‑class experts to deliver quality, accurate testing and certification that continues to exceed client expectations.
What you’ll do
Provide support for the outside sales team.
Process and manage transactional quotes and orders efficiently.
Respond quickly and accurately to quotation requests, leads and inquiries.
Follow up on proposals and close business.
Research and resolve account problems.
Work closely with customers and operations to facilitate a superior customer experience.
May perform client research, prospecting, and networking.
May provide marketing support for webinars, lunch and learns, open houses, technical seminars and similar events.
Perform other work as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED.
Prior relevant experience and/or training in sales or administrative support.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
Must be detail‑oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload with efficient time management.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written and presentation formats.
Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties.
MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Must be customer focused and quality driven.
Ability to travel as business needs dictate.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Previous work experience supporting a sales team.
