Role Description This full-time, on‑site Inside Sales Representative role is based in Valparaiso, IN. The Inside Sales Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls and emails, respond to customer inquiries, and provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability. The role includes generating and qualifying leads, preparing quotations, and following up to convert opportunities into orders. The person in this role will support existing accounts, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and collaborate closely with the outside sales and operations teams to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining CRM records, tracking sales activities, and contributing to sales forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications
Strong Inside Sales skills, with experience handling high‑volume calls and converting inquiries into orders.
Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build rapport, resolve issues, and maintain long‑term relationships.
Lead Generation and Account Management experience, including qualifying prospects and nurturing existing accounts.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical product information clearly.
Comfort using CRM systems, MS Office tools, and basic data entry for tracking opportunities and orders.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
