Supports the daily logistics needs of the sales department Ensures timely entry and accuracy of scheduling appointments from third party systems Notifies customers of freight arrivals, pickups, movement, and deliveries Maintains and provides updated shipping records in a format to present to stakeholders Facilitates quick professional communication between carriers, sales, and warehouses Certifies that orders are delivered in full and in a timely manner Track, trace, and update the status of shipments using company systems Review and confirm correct rates for proper payments Weekly updates sales department on changing freight rates Pulls and reports on freight trends CAPABILITIES
Able to navigate through a multitude of orders and match deliveries based on proper matrix Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage time to meet the needs of the business Able to build relationships and work cross-functionally within multiple departments within Wish Farms Maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with vendors by being a liaison between companies/departments Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems through use of data and analytical thinking WORK REQUIREMENTS
Extremely well organized with high level of attention to detail in high pressure situations Able to engage in professional communication with customers, DC’s, and all levels of the organization Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow in the position Some nights and weekends expected Can properly prioritize, multi-task, and meet all deadlines Has proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with proven business & people skills Knowledge of multiple transportation and logistics disciplines Strong interpersonal and communication skills 1+ years of load planning, data coordinating, or transportation and customer service experience strongly preferred Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr
