About
Role Description The Inside Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site (potentially remote) position based in Ipswich, MA. This role focuses on managing inbound and outbound sales activities, including handling customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on leads. The specialist will support lead generation efforts, maintain accurate records in CRM or order management systems, and coordinate with outside sales and technical teams to provide solutions that meet customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring timely responses, and supporting high levels of customer satisfaction. The position also involves collaborating with manufacturers and internal stakeholders to obtain technical information, pricing, and delivery details, while identifying opportunities to increase sales and support company growth.
Qualifications
Proven Inside Sales experience with a focus on quoting, order processing, and pipeline management.
Skills in Lead Generation and prospecting to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers.
Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to manage inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Comfort working with CRM and basic office software (e.g., Excel, email, Epicor Prophet 21, order entry systems).
Ability to work on-site in Ipswich, MA, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities. (Remote position a possibility for the right candidate)
Experience in industrial tools, abrasives, manufacturing, or a related technical sales environment is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
