Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales/Warehouse position located in Madison, AL. The role includes handling inbound sales inquiries, supporting outside sales, and assisting customers with product selection, pricing, and order entry via phone, email, and in person. Daily responsibilities include processing quotes and orders, generating leads from incoming requests, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. In the warehouse, the role involves receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders; organizing inventory; and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The position also requires coordinating with vendors and internal teams to confirm product availability, track deliveries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
Strong Inside Sales skills, including handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and closing orders.
Ability to perform Lead Generation activities, such as identifying opportunities from customer interactions and following up on potential new accounts.
Commitment to Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on responsiveness, reliability, and problem-solving.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers, vendors, and team members.
Previous experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, or a related field is preferred.
Comfort with basic computer systems, order-entry software, and inventory management tools.
Ability to lift and move materials safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or sales training is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
